Job: Product Specialist

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for driving the adoption of designated products by effectively influencing prescribing decisions within the assigned territory. The position focuses on achieving sales objectives, expanding market presence, and cultivating strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals—all in alignment with Pristol’s compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively engage primary care providers in informed discussions about the approved uses, safety, and efficacy of assigned products to support appropriate, on-label prescribing decisions.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and managers to execute a strategic local business plan aimed at surpassing sales targets and call activity metrics within the territory.

  • Consistently drive strong sales performance, ensuring forecasts and allocated budgets are achieved or exceeded in alignment with therapeutic goals.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local market dynamics, patient demographics, and managed care structures relevant to the assigned territory.

  • Adhere strictly to all compliance standards governing interactions with healthcare professionals, including promotional activities.

  • Maintain up-to-date medical knowledge and demonstrate proficient promotional capabilities within the relevant disease area and product portfolio.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical representative in the designated territory.

  • Demonstrated experience interacting with specialists in Urology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Emergency Medicine is preferred.

  • Prior engagement with SEHA and Mubadala healthcare networks is an advantage.

  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical commercial landscape.

  • Must possess a valid UAE driver’s license.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Confident and impactful presentation capabilities.

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
