Educate yourselves on the best practices and resources to expand healthcare workforce diversity and improve patient care.

About this event

We are excited to announce that our next conference will be in person on August 19-21, 2022 in a city that knows how to make up for lost time: Las Vegas, Nevada. Deaf and hard of hearing healthcare professionals, students, advocates, and allies will gather together to educate themselves on the best practices and resources to expand healthcare workforce diversity and improve patient care.

The 3 day event will take place at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and will feature educational presentations, keynote speakers, networking, booths provided by our sponsors, and more! The theme will be “Utilizing Technological Tools and Resources in Setting of a Pandemic for Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing Medical Professionals/Trainees.” Stay tuned for the complete schedule, which will be posted on our website.

If you would like to become a sponsor, please email admin@amphl.org

At this time, we are adhering to the current Nevada and UNLV’s COVID protocols. The State of Nevada requires all residents and visitors to wear a face covering. UNLV also requires all visitors to show proof of vaccination to enter the facility. If there are any changes to the mandates, this page will be updated.

In the event that we need to cancel the conference due to the ongoing pandemic, you will be issued an 80% refund.
